Back doing our favourite thing – hosting a supper club so that new and familiar faces can join us to appreciate amazing food and even better company.
Magic Momo returns to Eggbreak to collaborate on another supper club, and this time founder and chef supreme Daisy Beale sprinkles some of her signature magic to create a festive menu with a twist.
Maintaining her distinctive blend of South and Southeast Asian flavours, Daisy experiments with classic British seasonal ingredients to make something fresh. Creating dishes like sesame and kimchi Brussels sprouts (even the haters will love them) and mushroom and chestnut momos with cranberry chilli oil, Daisy injects some excitement into traditional festive eating. And the night will end on a sweet note with a British trifle reinvented. Made from smooth, vanilla-like ube (a purple yam – not to be confused with purple sweet potato) and ultra sweet Alphonso mango, this dessert will be on your mind days after tasting.
